SABIC’s revenues cross SAR 104.4bn in 9M-25; profits hit SAR 400m in Q3

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) reported net losses valued at SAR 4.84 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, against net profits of SAR 3.43 billion in 9M-24.

The revenues edged down by 0.75% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 104.49 billion in 9M-25 from SAR 105.28 billion, according to the financial results.

Loss per share hit SAR 1.61 as of 30 September 2025, versus an earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 1.14 a year earlier.

Results of Q3-25

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, SABIC posted net profits amounting to SAR 400 million, lower by 56% than SAR 1 billion in Q3-24.

Revenues hit SAR 34.33 billion in Q3-25, down 6.91% YoY from SAR 36.88 billion.

Quarterly, the company turned profitable in Q3-25 when compared to net losses of SAR 4.07 billion in April-June 2025, while the revenues declined by 3.48% from SAR 35.57 billion.

Abdulrahman Al Fageeh, CEO of SABIC, commented: “Our transformation journey also progressed this quarter, delivering $300 million in realized value, bringing us closer to our 2030 goal of $3 billion in recurring EBITDA.”

“This quarter, we introduced 91 new products, tailored to customer needs across global markets. We also expanded our low-carbon portfolio, certifying several new products and achieved our first sale of certified low-carbon methanol,” he added.
